 [TV리포트=남금주 기자] 이경실이 시어머니가 된 후 어려움을 토로했다.
 17일 방송된 MBN '속풀이쇼 동치미'에서는 3MC 김용만, 이현이, 에녹이 등장했다. 
 이날 이경실은 "벌써 3년 차 할머니가 됐는데, 할머니 소리 듣는 거 어떠냐"는 질문에 "손자가 하는 소리니까 (괜찮다). 아직 할머니'라고 부르진 못한다"라며 "전 늘 약간 거북한 게 저희 며느리한테 전화하면 '어머니'라고 하는데, 그 소리가 익숙하지 않다"라고 밝혔다. 
 시어머니가 된 명현숙은 "시어머니란 존재가 무섭다. 저희 시어머니를 대할 때 굉장히 힘들었다"라며 "제가 시어머니가 될 거라곤 생각 못했는데, 막상 되니까 거부감이 있다"라고 공감했다.

 이경실은 며느리, 시어머니 중 어떤 자리가 더 힘드냐는 질문에 "시어머니가 되어보니 어렵고 조심스럽다는. 며느리일 땐 제가 일을 했기 때문에 저희 시어머니들이"라고 말하다 "시어머니들이라고 나왔네. 1차, 2차가 있었기 때문에"라고 이혼을 언급하며 웃었다. 이경실은 "(시어머니가) 굉장히 배려를 많이 해주셨다. 며느리 자리가 그렇게 어렵진 않았고, 며느리로서 경제적으로 많이 메꿔서 좋아해 주셨다"라고 밝혔다. 
 반면 이경실은 며느리를 대할 때 조심스럽다고 말하며 "내 딸, 내 아들은 나한테 단련이 되었는데, 며느리는 아니지 않냐. 평소 쓰던 말투를 쓸 수 없고, 한번 생각하고 조심스럽게 말해야 한다. 나도 며느리한테 잘 보이고 싶기 때문"이라고 설명했다. 
 그러면서 이경실은 가족들이 다 모인 친정엄마 생신 잔치 일화를 꺼냈다. 이경실은 "거기서 아들 부부가 제일 막내였다. 단톡방에서 분위기를 보니 부부싸움을 한 것 같았는데, 나와서도 싸운 티를 내더라"면서 "단체 사진을 찍을 때 며느리가 사진을 잘 안 찍으려고 누구 뒤에 (숨어서) 단체 사진에 잘 안 나왔다"라고 했다.

 이경실은 "그냥 넘어갔는데 가만히 생각하니 화가 나더라. 얘기하다 보면 정제되지 않은 표현이 나올까봐 장문의 메시지를 보냈다. 내 속마음은 '너희가 제일 밑이지 않느냐'고 하고 싶었는데, 예쁘게 설명해서 보냈다"라고 밝혔다. 
 이어 이경실은 "그걸 보더니 며느리가 경솔했고 죄송하다고 답이 왔다. 그렇게 끝났는데, 며느리 눈치를 계속 보게 되더라. 누가 내가 며느리 눈치를 본다고 생각하겠냐"라며 "가족 단톡방에 손자 일상이 올라오는데, 막 올라오면 사이가 좋은가 싶고 뜸하게 올라오면 싸웠나 싶다"라고 털어놓았다. 반면 로버트 할리 아내 명현숙은 "며느리 자리가 더 힘들다"고 전했다.
