 [TV리포트=남금주 기자] 장신영이 딸이 입학 취소에 퇴학 처분까지 받게 된 걸 알고 분노했다. 
 20일 방송된 MBC 일일드라마 '태양을 삼킨 여자'에는 백설희(장신영 분)를 농락하는 민두식(전노민)의 모습이 그려졌다.
 이날 백설희는 민경채(윤아정)와 말이 통하지 않자 회장 민두식을 직접 만났다. 백설희가 "지금이라도 회장님이 바로 잡아달라"고 청하자 민두식은 "애비로서 할 말이 없다. 죄를 지었으면 벌을 받아야죠. 누구도 억울한 사람이 생겨선 안 되죠"라고 뻔뻔하게 거짓말하며 백설희를 안심시켰다.
 백설희가 돌아간 후 민두식은 민경채에게 "밟아줘야 할 때 확실히 하라니까. 원래 없는 것들이 눈이 돌면 물불 못 가리는 거다"라며 "네가 적당히 하니까 주제도 모르고 날뛰는 거 아니냐. 보고 배우려면 제대로 해"라고 분노했다.

 백설희는 국제고에 조기 입학했던 미소의 입학이 취소됐단 연락을 받았다. 백설희는 국제고를 찾아가 "학교 측의 부당한 결정 절대 따를 수 없다"라고 반발했지만, 학교 측은 "1년 쉰다 생각하고 내년을 준비해라"라고 태연하게 말하며 "불미스러운 사고에 연루돼 말이 많다"라고 이유를 밝혔다. 
 백설희는 가짜뉴스라며 억울함을 토로했지만, 학교 측은 "사법부와 얘기해라. 여론을 무시할 수 없다"라고 했다. 그러나 배후엔 민경채가 있었다. 백설희는 차마 딸 백미소에게 국제고 입학에 대해 말할 수 없었다. 민두식이 해결해 준다는 말만 들은 백미소는 "밝혀지면 악플 달릴 일 없겠지?"라면서 불안함에 떨었다.
 그런 가운데 문태경(서하준)은 조필두(이한위)에게 부모님 사고에 관한 진실을 들을 수 있을 거라 생각했다. 하지만 조필두는 민두식에게 연락해 이를 알리며 "회장님도 잘못을 인정하고 용서를 구하라"고 했고, 이후 괴한에게 습격을 당했다. 민두식의 짓이었다. 문태경이 바로 조필두를 병원에 옮겼지만 조필두는 의식불명에 빠졌다.

 이에 민두식은 다시 한번 민경채에게 기어오르지 못하게 하라며 단단히 일러두었고, 민경채는 "나중에 발목 잡힐 일 없게 모든 조처를 취했다"라고 밝혔다. 민수정(안이서)은 김선재(오창석)에게 "우리 언니 뭐가 좋냐"라고 경고하며 "멸문지화란 말 알죠? 세리랑 엮인 그 애 지금 쑥대밭 됐을 거다"라고 밝혔다.
 민경채는 분식집을 운영하던 백설희도 내쫓았다. 시세 두 배를 주고 건물을 산 것. 거기다 백미소는 학교에서 퇴학 처분을 받게 됐다. 담임 선생님을 통해 국제고 입학 취소 처분까지 알게 된 백미소는 울분을 터뜨렸다. 백미소는 "내가 피해잔데 왜 이렇게 힘들어야 해"라며 오열했다.
