 오늘(20일) 방송되는 TV CHOSUN의 세상에 없던 출산 예능 ‘우리 아기가 태어났어요(연출 이승훈 김준/작가 장주연)’에는 자연임신으로 쌍둥이를 2회 연속 낳게 된 ‘겹쌍둥이’ 산모가 등장한다. 
 겹쌍둥이 산모는 이란성 쌍둥이 남매를 제왕절개로 출산했고, 이어 또다시 이란성 딸 쌍둥이를 자연 임신했다. 세쌍둥이 임신 확률보다 더 희박하다는 겹쌍둥이의 임신 확률은 ‘10만분의 1’일 정도로 매우 희귀한 경우였다. ‘순풍 듀오’ 박수홍&amp;양세형은 “처음 들어본다”고 입을 모았다. 
 출산이 다가왔지만, 겹쌍둥이 산모는 이미 첫 쌍둥이 임신 당시 조산 경험으로 불안했다. 조산 경험이 있는 산모는 이후 조산 위험이 3배 이상 높아진다. 그렇기에 두 번째 쌍둥이는 태아보험도 들 수 없었다. 게다가 첫 쌍둥이 출산 당시 한 아기가 숨을 쉬지 못해, 쌍둥이 모두 신생아 중환자실(NICU)에 3주나 있어야 했다. 아기를 낳았지만 볼 수 없어 가슴이 철렁했던 기억은 산모에게 트라우마가 됐다.

 게다가 두 번째 쌍둥이 모두 가로로 누워있는 ‘횡아’였다. 자문을 맡은 산부인과 전문의 김지연은 “미치겠다. 혼자 있는 ‘단태아’여도 ‘횡아’면 의사들도 무척 긴장한다. 수술할 때 출혈도 많고 시간도 오래 걸린다”며 마음을 졸였다. 
 아니나 다를까 수술이 시작되자 산모의 혈압이 떨어지기 시작했다. 시간이 지체되면 산모와 쌍둥이 모두 위험할 수 있기 때문에 의료진은 분주해졌다. 게다가 수술이 시작된 후 의료진은 “어?”라고 외쳤고, 동시에 산부인과 주치의가 다른 과 의료진들에게 긴급히 협진 요청을 해서 수술실로 부르는 모습도 포착됐다. 
 박수홍은 수술실 밖에서 겹쌍둥이 산모의 남편과 함께 “수술이 이렇게 길어지는 경우가 있나요?”라며 걱정했다. 불안에 떨던 남편은 “산모도 위험한데 너무 아기들만 신경 쓰고 걱정했다”며 아내를 애타게 기다렸다. 
 예상치 못한 변수와 ‘우리 아기가 태어났어요’ 사상 최장 수술 시간으로 모두의 가슴을 졸이게 만든 ‘겹쌍둥이’ 산모의 출산기는 오늘(20일) 밤 10시 방송되는 국내 최초 출산 중계 버라이어티 TV CHOSUN ‘우리 아기가 태어났어요’에서 공개된다.
