           드라마 '선재 업고 튀어'를 통해 큰 사랑을 받은 변우석은 21일 공개된 매거진 앳스타일 7월호 화보 인터뷰에서 최근 참석한 'ASEA 2025' 시상식 수상과 관련 "제가 받은 이 사랑을 어떻게 보답할 수 있을까라는 생각을 많이 하게 됐다"고 말하며 "팬들의 투표와 응원으로 받게 된 상이라, 단순한 트로피 이상의 감정이 담겨 있었다"고 전했다. 이어 "시상자로 무대에 섰을 때는 상의 무게감을 다시금 실감했고, 수상 아티스트에게 진심을 담아 상을 전달하고 싶었다"고 덧붙였다.
