 '지금 백지연' 김지호가 배우 복귀에 대한 의지를 드러냈다. 23일 유튜브 채널 '지금 백지연'에서는 배우 김지호의 솔직 토크가 펼쳐졌다. 올해 50세인 김지호는 "제가 약간 ADHD가 있다. 오래 진득하게 한 가지를 못한다"고 고백했다. 43살부터 요가를 시작한 그는 "평생 우울, 심심함을 모르고 살았는데, 무기력증이 오더라. 호르몬의 강력함을 알게 됐다"며 운동과 수련을 통해 극복했다고 전했다. 감성적인 김지호의 일상에 백지연은 "그냥 배우 해라. 왜 영화, 드라마 안 하냐"고 물었다. 김지호는 "나는 작품 밖에서 더 배우 감성으로 사는 느낌"이라며 아빠 권유로 영문과 다니며 호텔리어 꿈꾸다가 갑자기 배우로 데뷔하게 된 후 한계를 느꼈다고 털어놨다.

 누군가에게 평가 대상이 되는 배우라는 직업에 익숙하지 않았던 김지호는 "집에서는 잘 됐던 것도 현장 가서 얼어버린다. 그러다 보니 재미가 없었고, 작품 제안이 와도 도망쳤다"고 고백했다. 김지호는 "결혼하고 출산 후에도 작품이 들어왔다. '할까' 싶다가도 '또 해내지 못하면 어떡하지. 너 전에도 못 했잖아'라는 생각이 들었다"면서 용기를 잃은 모습을 보였다. 광고 출연 등으로 방송 복귀를 시도했던 김지호는 "사실 중간에 드라마를 몇 번 했는데, 결국 스스로에게 실망했다. 내가 끝까지 물고 가는 지구력이 없더라. 빨리 끝내고 안락한 내 집으로 도망가야지 생각만 했다"고 토로했다.

 과거를 회상한 김지호는 "지금의 나라면 했을 거다. 요가, 명상을 배우고 나이가 들면서 '누구나 처음은 있는데 못해도 하면 되지'라는 용기와 베짱이 생겼다"고 말했다. 마음은 먹었지만 때는 늦었다. 김지호는 "이제는 뭘 하고 싶은데 역할이 안 들어온다. 시장이 얼어버렸다고 하더라. 또 보여준 게 그닥 없는데, 김지호라는 이름은 있어서 챙겨줘야 하니까. 제 나이 또래에 잘하는 배우들이 포진되어 있으니까, 지금 들어가서 연기하고 싶다고 해도 쉽게 받아들이지 못할 것"이라며 미소를 보였다. 한편, 김지호는 2001년 배우 김호진과 결혼해 슬하에 외동딸 효우 양을 두고 있다. 김은정 텐아시아 기자 eun@tenasia.co.kr
