          <p contents-hash="d31e5becb6a4c1dfd6c1c98306c65569ec7c5fca2a674e84fc4f1cd3c6f1074a" dmcf-pid="tN4nptmeET" dmcf-ptype="general">삐에로는 그에게 자신과 닯은 살아가는 방식이었다. 관객의 환호 속에 감춰진 불안과 외로움, 그 감정들은 이번 전시에서 '삐에로의 코'라는 동그란 반복적 이미지로 상징된다. 작품 속 코는 단순한 소품이 아닌 세상을 비추는 창이자, 자기를 마주하는 거울이다. 코에 비친 세상은 종종 왜곡되어 있지만, 그 왜곡마저 유쾌하게 받아들이려는 삶에 대한 긍정과 용기가 담겨 있다. 작가는 전시를 준비하며 "저는 삐에로입니다. 제 웃음 뒤로 여러분은 무엇을 보셨을까요? 웃음 뒤의 진심을 그림으로 꺼내고 나서야, 진짜 웃을 수 있게 되었어요."라 말했다.</p>
          <p contents-hash="08bccb18ec222724932afdce6d4a741472410a2c1919e5581c40e8042d884d59" dmcf-pid="Fj8LUFsdrv" dmcf-ptype="general">'Purism'은 '순수함'을 뜻한다. 이민우는 오랜 세월의 역할과 이미지를 벗어 던지고, 가장 정직한 감정과 마주하는 작업을 통해 순수했던 본래의 자신으로 거듭나고자 했다. 그림을 통해 웃으며 살아내는 법을 선택한 한 예술가의 첫 걸음이 관객에게도 조용한 울림을 전할 것이다.</p>
