 [스포츠조선 정빛 기자] 1970년생 박명수가 역대급 고난을 맞는다.
 1일 방송되는 MBC에브리원 '위대한 가이드2'에서는 박명수, 김대호, 최다니엘, 이무진 '사형제'가 세계 7대 불가사의 '페트라' 하이라이트 정복에 나선다. 작렬하는 중동의 태양 아래에서 극한의 고행길이 예고돼 더욱 관심이 집중된다.
 '사형제'는 가이드 스마디의 추천으로 '페트라'의 마지막 코스인 '알 데이르'까지 등반하기에 도전한다. 이들은 '페트라'의 하이라이트를 앞두고 설레던 것도 잠시, 돌산에 새겨진 800여 개의 계단으로 인해 극한 상황에 처한다.

 평소 체력으로는 뒤처진 적 없던 막내 이무진조차 김대호에게 의지할 수밖에 없다며 "대호형이 힘이 된다"라고 고백한다. 이어 한계를 극복하기 위한 본인만의 비밀까지 털어놓아 웃음을 자아냈다고.
 이어 가장 최약체로 예상되던 박명수는 "이렇게 인생 마감하는구나"라고 말할 만큼 역대급 고난에 점점 지쳐 가는데. 급기야 앞서가던 메인 PD를 향해 육두문자를 남발하며 분노를 쏟아내 웃지 못할 상황이 펼쳐지기도 한다.

 그뿐만 아니라, 더 높은 곳으로 이끌려는 김대호와 이무진을 마주하자 절망에 빠지고 만다. 이를 지켜보던 김대호는 "마지막에 강한 악마 둘을 만난 거야"라며 자평해 스튜디오를 웃음바다로 만든다.
 우여곡절 끝에 정상에 다다른 '사형제'는 한눈에 내려다보이는 '알 데이르'의 장관에 말문이 막힌다. '사형제' 앞에 펼쳐진 압도적인 풍경은 과연 어떤 모습이었을지 기대감을 자아낸다.

 '사형제'의 다음 여정은 영화 '마션', '듄' 촬영지로도 유명한 '와디 럼' 사막으로 알려졌는데. '페트라'에 이어 또 한 번 여행 예능 최초로 공개될 붉은 사막 '와디 럼' 여행기는 과연 어땠을지 귀추가 주목된다.
 웃음과 감동, 그리고 극한 생존기가 뒤섞인 사형제의 요르단 정복기는 7월 1일(화) 오후 8시 30분 MBC에브리원 '위대한 가이드2'에서 공개된다.
