           그는 "가요 작사가로 짧게 활동하다가 뉴욕대에 진학했다. 영어, 미술 공부에 집중하고 있었는데 한국에서 뮤지컬 작곡을 하다 온 윌 애런슨과 친해졌다"고 윌 애런슨과 인연을 회상했다.
