           <p>가장 억지스럽게 느껴지는 부분은 메인 빌런인 갤럭투스를 타파하는 과정. 기발한 아이디어로 빌런을 해치우는 게 아닌, 헛웃음이 터질 정도로 유치하고 단순한 방식으로 위협에서 벗어나기 때문. 아무리 그래도 원작 코믹스를 대표하는 캐릭터 중 하나인 갤럭투스를 이렇게 간단한 방식으로, 어떤 활약도 보지 못한 채 퇴장시켰다는 게 아쉽기만 하다.</p>

           <p>캐릭터들의 능력도 제대로 활용하지 못한다. 유일하게 빛나는 건 외형적으로도 불불을 뿜어내는 '휴먼 토치' 조니 스톰뿐, 나머지는 병풍 역할밖에 하지 않는다. '더 씽' 벤 그림은 외형이 다르고 온순한 헐크에 불과하고, '인비저블 우먼' 수 스톰은 극 초반에만 활약할 뿐, 후반엔 표정 변화 없이 손을 뻗은 채 에너지장만 뿜어내 아쉬움을 안긴다. 그리고 이들 중 가장 존재감이 없는 건 '미스터 판타스틱' 리드 리처드. 분명 최고 분량을 자랑하는 주인공이고 주변은 그가 만든 발명품으로 가득 차 있지만, 막상 활약은 기억이 나지 않을 만큼 미미하다. 능력을 제대로 조명하지 못한 탓인데, 그가 갤럭투스에 대적할 '무기'를 만드는 장면조차 최근의 마블 작품들처럼 '엄청난 두뇌를 지닌 능력자'로 치부한 채 얼렁뚱땅 넘어가 깊은 인상을 남기지 못한다.</p>
