 [TV리포트=한수지 기자] '퍼펙트 라이프' 현영이 과거 톱 여가수에게 배꼽 성형 수술 의심을 받았던 사실을 고백했다.
 30일 방송된 TV CHOSUN '퍼펙트 라이프'에서는 여름 특집을 맞이해 MC 현영의 '여름철 다이어트 프로젝트'가 공개됐다. 
 이날 현영은 "어떻게 살을 뺄지 모르겠는 분들은 저만 믿고 따라와라"라고 호언장담했다. 하지만 이성미는 "이제 네가 살 뺀다는 말은 아무도 안 믿는다"라고 말했고, 신승환도 "퍼라의 공식 양치기 누나다"라고 공감해 웃음을 자아냈다.
 앞서 현영은 수많은 다이어트 선언을 한 후 실패한 경험이 있었다. 현영은 "안 해본 다이어트가 없다"라고 말했고, 디톡스, 원푸드, 1일 1식 등의 다이어트를 시도했다고 고백했다.
 이를 듣던 가정의학과 전문의 김태균은 "잘못된 다이어트의 예가 총집합 됐다"라고 지적하며 "여름철 다이어트는 더 어렵다. 더워서 달달한 음료의 유혹이 강하기 때문"이라고 말했다. 
 현영은 "이번에는 제대로 살을 빼볼거다. 제 다이어트 방법을 검증 후 솔루션을 받아서, 한달 뒤 목표 체중을 달성해 이 자리에서 체중계 위에 올라갈 것"이라고 선포했다.

 일상 영상에서 현영은 여름 방학을 맞아 아들을 데리고 친한 지인들과 수영장을 찾았다. 현영은 지인들에게 다이어트를 선언한 후 "슬픈게 예전엔 수영장 옆에 무조건 비키니였다. 내 배꼽이 진짜 예뻤다"라고 말했다. 그러면서 현영은 과거 톱 여가수에게 배꼽 성형 수술 의심을 받았던 일화를 털어놨다.
 현영은 "당시 몸매가 예쁜 여자 연예인의 배꼽은 다 일자 모양이었다. 그중 내 배꼽이 제일 예뻤다"며 날씬했던 과거의 모습을 자랑했다. 이어 현영은 "저때 국내 톱 여가수한테 전화가 왔다. 그러더니 저한테 대뜸 '배꼽 어디서 (성형 수술)했어요?'라고 묻더라. 그래서 안 했다고 했다"며 명품 일자 배꼽의 비하인드 스토리를 공개했다. 
 하지만 현재 현영은 뱃살을 숨기기 위해 겉옷으로 배를 꽁꽁 감춘 상태였다. 현영은 "제가 일자 배꼽을 다시 찾을거다"라고 자신만만한 모습을 보였다. 
 현영은 식사 전 BNR17 유산균을 챙겨먹었다. 그는 "저는 오래됐다. 식전에 BNR17 유산균을 먹으면 탄수화물 흡수를 막아 체지방 감소에 도움이 된다고 한다"라고 전했다. 
 여행을 다녀온 다음날 현영은 숙취 해소를 위해 쇼파에 앉아 독서를 하더니, 따뜻한 차를 마셨다. 이를 본 패널들은 설정샷을 의심하며, "저거 위스키 아니냐?"라며 야유를 쏟아내 웃음을 자아냈다. 
 이후 그는 공복에 폭풍 운동을 하고는, 몸무게를 쟀다. 현영은 키 172cm에 몸무게 59.4kg였다. 현영은 여기서 4kg를 감량해 55kg를 목표로 하고 있었다. 현영은 "제가 감량 성공을 하면 축하를 받고 만약 성공을 못하면 100분께 선물을 쏘겠다"라고 공약을 걸며, 의지를 다졌다.
