          <p contents-hash="0481bfb4a5b671a1aae16daba5a5d1169f4de6efa56812721c13ff821d6fb968" dmcf-pid="xKogQ0hLXl" dmcf-ptype="general">자녀들이 거주하는 미국 LA에 방문한 선우용여는 즐거운 시간을 보내며 지난 세월을 회상했다. 1980년대 미국 이민을 결심했던 그는 연기 활동을 위해 홀로 한국에 귀국했다. 자녀들은 미국에 정착해 생활을 이어왔다. </p>
          <p contents-hash="39c3adbed98e2747d42a6d8856d7decc8b2c363adf8192b06b93d676c973688f" dmcf-pid="ymtFTN411h" dmcf-ptype="general">당시를 회상한 선우용여는 "딸이 '그냥 이제 취미 삼아 연기하러 가'라고 했다. '나는 이제 엄마가 필요 없다'고 생각하는 것 같아 섭섭했다"고 말했다. 딸 김연재는 "그렇게 할 수밖에 없는 상황이었다. 식당이 다 망했기 때문"라고 설명했다.</p>
          <p contents-hash="06ae98ecfa6cdf844d56bf4415c42d6b45f5774c7bb714b747ceede4daf7be4f" dmcf-pid="WsF3yj8tXC" dmcf-ptype="general">미국 이민 후 식당을 했던 선우용여는 "망한 게 아니라 뺐겼다"면서 장사가 잘되던 가게를 건물주에게 뺏겼다고 털어놨다. 그러면서 "식당도 하고 봉제 공장도 했지만 그걸 고생이라고 생각하지 않았다. 자녀들과 같이 있는 것만으로 만족했다"고 말했다.</p>
          <p contents-hash="aebc7b15c11f18ad6699e9599d4c4d0e8f5069768b4ba29e6a4114e3e075a000" dmcf-pid="YO30WA6FtI" dmcf-ptype="general">이를 듣은 김연재는 "이런 얘기를 해도 될지 모르겠지만 (식당을 하던 당시) 엄마가 계를 하시다가 사기를 당한 적이 있다"며 "엄마가 믿었던 사람이었고 (계를) 혼자 한 것도 아니었다. 사기를 당하고 너무 충격을 받아 몇 달 동안 엄마가 일어나지 못했다"고 전했다. 이에 선우용녀는 "'이런 걸 하면 안 되겠구나'를 그때 처음 무섭게 공부했다"며 눈물을 보이기도 했다.</p>
