 [스포츠조선닷컴 정안지 기자] 개그우먼 박미선이 유방암 초기 진단을 받고 치료 중인 것으로 알려진 가운데 소속사 측은 명확한 병명은 함구한 채 "건강상의 이유로 휴식기를 갖고 있다"고 밝혔다. 
 22일 '더팩트'는 "박미선의 측근 등 복수의 지인들을 통해 확인한 바에 따르면 박미선은 올해 초 건강 이상으로 병원 검진을 받았고, 이 과정에서 유방암 초기 진단을 받은 것으로 확인됐다"고 보도했다.
 이어 매체는 가까운 측근의 말을 인용해 "조기 발견한 덕분에 방사선과 약물치료만으로 완치 가능성이 높아 크게 걱정할 단계가 아니다"면서 "심리적으로 안정된 상태에서 현재 집과 병원을 오가며 치료와 휴식에 전념하고 있다"고 덧붙였다.
 이와 관련해 박미선 소속사 큐브엔터테인먼트 측은 "개인 의료 정보로 정확한 확인은 어려우나 건강상의 이유로 휴식기를 갖고 있다"고 밝혔다.

 한편 박미선은 올해 초 방송과 유튜브 등 활동을 중단, 이후 남편 이봉원과 절친들이 방송 등에 출연해 눈물로 박미선의 쾌유를 빌어 그녀의 병명에 더욱 관심이 쏟아지기도 했다. 
 지난 6월 남편 이봉원은 MBC '라디오스타'에 출연해 박미선 건강 관련 질문에 "잘 치료 받고 잘 쉬고 있다. 38년 동안 한 번도 못 쉬었다. 이번 기회에 재충전 중이다"며 근황을 전했다.

 또한 이봉원은 6월 방송된 JTBC '대결! 팽봉팽봉' 마지막 방송에서 아내 박미선의 건강을 언급하며 눈물을 보이기도 했다. 
 팽현숙은 최양락의 머리를 만져준 뒤 "나이 먹으니까 서로 의지하면서 사는 거 밖에 없다"고 했고, 최양락은 "결국은 부부 밖에 없다. 아내가 생각나지 않냐"고 물었다. 이에 이봉원은 "같이 오기로 했으니까, 아내가 되게 기대가 컸다. 되게 좋아했을텐데"면서 "아프니까 아픈 상태에서, 이곳에 촬영 오느라 가장 아플 때 곁에 있어 주지 못했다. 그래도 많이 괜찮아졌다고 하더라"며 미안함에 눈물을 흘렸다.
 조혜련은 최근 MBC '두시의 데이트 안영미입니다'에 출연해 "사람들이 미선 언니의 근황을 궁금해하는데 하루도 빠짐 없이 기도한다"며 박미선을 향한 걱정에 눈물을 흘리기도 했다.
 이경실은 또한 지난 8월 SNS를 통해 "동생아 잘 견디고 있냐. 늘 얘기하지만 많은 사람이 기도한다. 외로워 말고 허망해 하지도 말고 그저 네 몸만 생각해라. 잘 치료받고 완쾌한다는"이라면서 "내가 이런 일 저런 일 많이 겪었지 않나. 몸도 몸이지만 어떤 외로움을 느낄지 아니까 마음이 그렇다. 다 지나간다는 말, 너무 흔하고 흔한 말이지만 이겨내고 겪어내면 또 웃는 일이 있더라. 그러니까 힘내자 동생아"라면서 박미선을 향한 응원의 메시지를 남기기도 해 눈길을 끌었다.
