 슈퍼주니어 김희철에 의해 체중 58kg임이 알려진 이특이 자유로운 매력이 담긴 화보를 공개했다. 1983년생 이특은 패션 매거진 &lt;데이즈드&gt;와 9월호 화보 촬영을 진행, 신비로우면서 몽환적인 무드부터 도시적인 세련미까지 아우르는 다층적인 이미지를 선보여 이목을 집중시키고 있다. 그는 은은한 조명 아래 감각적인 포즈와 눈빛으로 아티스틱한 면모를 드러내는가 하면, 또 다른 컷에서는 모던한 슈트 스타일링으로 시크함을, 캐주얼룩에서는 특유의 여유로움까지 담아내며 깊은 인상을 남겼다.

 인터뷰에서 이특은 슈퍼주니어 데뷔 20주년에 대해 "20년이라는 세월이 금세 지나갔는데 지금은 '우리 20년 더 할 수 있겠는데?' 이런 자신감이 있다. 더 나이 들어 춤추기 힘들면 디너쇼로 해도 되고, 죽으면 천국에서라도 '슈퍼쇼' 투어 할 거라 한다"라며 "슈퍼주니어는 꾸준히 할 거다. 지금까지 한 것보다 더"라고 소감을 밝혔다.

 최근 3일 전석 매진을 이루며 뜨거운 화력을 보여준 데뷔 20주년 기념 월드 투어 'SUPER SHOW 10'(슈퍼쇼 10)에 대해서는 "아무리 이번 공연을 잘 준비할 수 있다는 확신이 들어도 관객이 없으면 그만이지 않나. 설렘과 초조함이 뒤섞인 감정은 어떻게 말로 표현이 안 되는데, 엘프가 저희를 아직 사랑하고 늘 기다려준다는 사실이 너무너무 고맙다"라고 팬들에게 감사함을 전해 눈길을 끌었다.
