 [TV리포트=남금주 기자] 27기에서 두 커플이 탄생했다. 
 27일 방송된 SBS플러스·ENA '나는 솔로'에서는 최종 선택이 그려졌다. 
 이날 27기 정숙은 영철에게 최종 선택 전날 밤이 되어서야 거절 의사를 표시했다. 회피하던 정숙은 사람들을 붙잡고 영철에 대한 이야기를 했고, 이를 본 현숙은 "더 얘기하지 말고 둘이 얘기해"라고 조언해 주었다. 
 정숙은 영철과 광수는 함께 있으면 편하지만, 영수 옆에선 긴장이 된다고 고백했다. 영철이 "남자로서 매력이 없단 거 아니냐"라고 하자 정숙은 "그게 아니잖아"라고 말했다. 그러자 데프콘과 송해나는 "그게 맞지"라고 입을 모았고, "어떻게 포장해도 안 된다. 이미 끝났다"라고 밝혔다.

 두 사람의 대화를 본 영자는 "정숙이 진짜 분량 킬러"라고 했고, 옥순은 "난 너무 재밌었어"라며 영수, 광수, 영철 등의 행동을 언급해 웃음을 자아냈다. 옥순은 "장시간 얘기하는 것도 신기해. 서로 별로인 것 같은데 이렇게 오래 대화하는 이유가 뭐야?"라고 말해 웃음을 더했다. 송해나는 "우리랑 다 똑같은 생각이네"라고 했고, 데프콘도 "굳이 우리가 얘기 안 해도 얘기해주시니 감사할 따름"이라고 크게 공감했다. 
 최종 선택의 아침. 정숙은 현숙에게 영철과의 대화를 말하며 "삐쳤단 얘기를 들을 필요는 없는데, 표현이 과하다고 생각했다"라며 "내가 현커였냐 이 말이지"라고 털어놓았다. 이를 들은 현숙은 "다른 사람들은 정숙의 마음을 정확하게 모르기 때문에 갈팡질팡하고 주위를 맴돈다고 느껴졌다. 제일 인기녀였는데, 정숙이 좀 더 빨리 영수한테 관심 있다고 말해줬으면 좋았을 거 같다. 다른 분들도 결혼하고 싶어서 나온 거 아니냐. 시간이 짧은데, 아니면 아닌 거라고 미리 말해줬으면 다른 사람을 알아볼 기회가 있지 않았냐"라고 정곡을 찔렀다. 
 그러나 정숙은 "표현을 안 하거나 애매하게 한 적은 없다"라고 부인하며 "빨리 결정하지 못했다는 것도 어느 부분은 인정한다. 내가 인기녀가 되고 싶어서 그랬던 건 아니다"라고 밝혔다. 이에 데프콘은 "모든 플레이가 괜찮았는데, 딱 하나 패착을 꼽자면 슈퍼 데이트다. 그걸 광수, 영철한텐 안 썼어야 한다고 본다. 그거 때문에 터진 것"이라고 일갈했다.

 이후 영철은 꽃다발을 선물했고, 정숙은 눈물을 보였다. 상철은 옥순에게 하트 풍선과 손 편지를 선물했고, 상철에게 서운했던 옥순은 감동했다. 이어진 최종 선택의 시간. 영식은 "너 하나만큼은 내 세상으로 데려갈란다"라며 현숙을 선택했지만, 현숙은 아무도 선택하지 않았다. 
 영호, 순자, 영철, 광수 등은 선택을 포기했고, 상철과 옥순은 최종 커플이 되었다. 마지막으로 영수와 정숙도 서로를 택했다.
