 [TV리포트=신윤지 기자] 방송인 김나영이 조혈모세포 기증에 직접 나서며 따뜻한 선행을 실천했다.
 채널 '노필터티비'에는 지난 31일 '김나영의 조혈모세포 기증 브이로그(10년을 기다려 받은 행운의 편지)'라는 제목의 영상이 올라왔다.
 영상 속에서 그는 "집으로 조혈모세포 은행에서 연락이 왔다. 이 편지봉투를 보는 순간 10여 년 전 우연한 기회로 조혈모 기증 희망자로 등록했던 것이 생각이 났다"며 "타인 간 일치할 확률이 수만 명 중에 한 명에 불과할 정도로 굉장히 (일치 확률이) 낮다고 하는데 나와 일치하는 환자가 생겼다는 소식을 들었다. 내가 무언가를 할 수 있다는 생각에 엄청 기쁘다"고 전했다.
 기증을 담당한 여의도성모병원 김동윤 교수는 "조혈모세포 기증은 다른 사람에게 새로운 삶을 선물하는 일이다"라며 "김나영 씨처럼 공개적으로 경험을 나누는 것만으로도 큰 의미가 있다"고 김나영의 기증 선택에 깊은 응원의 뜻을 전했다.
 실제 기증 절차에 나선 그는 촉진제를 맞고 입원해 채집 과정을 거쳤다. 김나영은 팔 혈관이 얇아 목으로 삽관까지 진행했지만 1차 채집에서 세포량이 부족해 2차 채집까지 이어졌다. 이에 김나영은 "수혜자분이 기대했을 텐데 실망하실 거 같아서 속상하다"며 눈시울을 붉히기도 했다.

 이후 2차 채집까지 마무리한 김나영은 "이번에 기증을 하면서 얼굴도 이름도 모르는 분을 이렇게까지 응원할 수 있다는 것을 처음으로 느꼈다. 그 마음이 스스로를 되게 행복하게 해줬다"며 "내가 힘든 일을 겪었을 때 얼굴도 이름도 모르는 분들의 응원을 많이 받았다. 어쩌면 그 응원으로 지금까지 살아온 것일 수도 있다. 그래서 이번에는 내가 받았던 응원, 기쁨, 복 다 흘려보낸다"고 따뜻한 소감을 전했다.
 한편 김나영은 이혼 후 슬하에 두 아들을 홀로 키우다 가수 겸 화가 마이큐와 공개 열애를 이어오고 있다.
