 [TV리포트=남금주 기자] 배우 김강우가 망언을 했다고 고백했다.
 7일 방송된 TV조선 '식객 허영만의 백반기행'(이하 '백반기행') 배우 김강우가 등장했다. 
 이날 김강우가 트럭에서 내리며 등장했다. 김강우와 특별한 인연이 있는 허영만은 "어이, 성찬이"라고 부르며 반갑게 인사했다. 김강우가 2007년 영화 '식객'에서 천재 요리사 성찬 역을 맡았기 때문. 
 허영만은 "이 용달차는 영화 찍을 때 한번 타보고 탄 적 있냐"라고 물었고, 김강우는 "탄 적 없다"라고 답했다. 허영만이 "그때나 지금이나 똑같은 것 같다"라고 하자 김강우도 "선생님이 똑같은 것 같다"라고 화답했다.

 김강우는 "작품 홍보 때문에 나온 건 아니고, 선생님 뵙고 싶어서 출연했다. 선생님을 마지막으로 뵌 게 영화 '식객' 마지막에 특별 출연해 줬을 때다"라고 밝혔다. 이를 들은 허영만은 "촌놈을 촬영 현장에 앉혀 놓고, (갑자기 대사를 줬다). 한마디 하는 건데 카메라가 여러 대 있으니까 쫄았다"라며 긴장했던 당시를 떠올렸다. 
 유튜브를 시작했다는 김강우는 "4~5개월 정도 됐다. 음식을 많이 다룬다. '돌아온 식객'이라고"라고 설명했다. 이에 허영만은 '식객' 사용하면 나한테 얘기해야지"라고 너스레를 떨었다. 
 영화 '식객' 촬영 후 요리에 관심이 더 생겼다는 김강우는 "그전에도 요리를 그냥 막연히 해보고 싶다고 생각했다. 그래서 '식객'하면서 더 재밌게 열심히 했던 것 같다"라고 했다. 김강우는 "근래 맡은 배역에 좀 센 캐릭터가 많았다. 악역도 많고. 절 모르시는 분들은 캐릭터 그대로 절 무섭게 생각하더라. 그래서 제가 아이들하고 다정하게 있는 모습이나 아내와도 친한 친구처럼 지내는 걸 보면 되게 놀라더라"라고 고백했다.

 허영만이 "18년 전에 '식객'이 나왔는데, 그다음 작품에 영향을 미쳤냐"고 묻자 김강우는 "큰 영향이 있었다. 제 주연으로 첫 흥행작이어서 저한텐 의미가 큰 작품이다. 그 이후로도 작품을 쭉 해나갈 수 있는 원동력이 됐다"라고 애정을 드러냈다. 
 김강우는 평소에 다이어트를 하냐는 질문에 "다이어터는 아니고 유지어터"라며 몸무게를 일정하게 74~76kg 정도로 유지한다고 밝혔다. 김강우는 "어느 인터뷰에서 아무 생각없이 몸무게가 고3때부터 똑같다고 했는데, 망언이라고 하더라. 어떻게 똑같냐고 하길래 '키가 똑같으니까 똑같죠'라고 했다가 또 욕 먹었다"라고 고백했다.
