           선미는 "20대 초중반, 활동한 지 5~6년 정도 연차가 있었을 때였다. 나 선배고 오래 했고, 원더걸스 선미니까라고 생각했는데 지나고 보니 왜 그렇게 바보 같은 생각을 했나 싶었다"고 하며 "그때 마음이 많이 힘들기도 했다. 찌든 순간들이 있었는데 그 순간을 한 번 이겨내고 나니 다시 예전의 선미로 돌아올 수 있었다"고 했다.
