 '4인용식탁' 방은희가 충격적인 가족 이야기를 꺼냈다. 29일 방송된 채널A '절친 토큐멘터리-4인용식탁'에서는 38년 차 배우 방은희가 절친 율희, 양소영 변호사와 함께 출연했다. 이날 방은희는 배우의 꿈을 꾸다가 가부장적 아버지께 목숨까지 위협받았다고 충격 고백했다. "사춘기 시절을 너무 힘들게 보냈다"고 밝힌 방은희는 "당시 아버지가 원했던 여자상은 흰 원피스를 입고 얌전하게 집에 있는 순종적인 모습이었다. 여자가 직업을 갖는 건 꿈도 못 꿨다. 여자가 안경 쓰면 재수없 다고 했고, 아버지 허락 없이 어머니가 외출도 못 했다"고 전했다.

 집에만 갇혀 있어야 하는 환경에 방은희는 "벽에 죽고 싶다고 적기도 했다"고 털어놨다.  배우 이혜영, 김갑수 주연의 연극 '님의 침묵'을 우연히 접하고 '무대에 서는 사람이 되면 내가 누군지 알 수 있겠다'는 생각에 배우의 꿈을 꾸게 된 방은희는 "건축업 하는 아버지가 한두 달에 한 번 집에 왔는데, 연극한다고 했더니 칼 들고 죽여버린다고 하고, 두들겨 맞고 난리 났었다"고 회상했다. 방은희의 "어머니가 16살에 나를 낳았다. 대학 간 뒤에 엄마한테 술 내가 가르쳤다. 동생 같은 느낌이었다"고 이야기했다.

 두 번 결혼과 두 번 이혼을 경험한 방은희는 "두 번 다 사랑 없이 결혼했다. 첫 남편과는 만난 지 33일 만에 결혼했고, 두 번째는 30일 만에 결혼했다. 연애 자체를 중요하게 생각하지 않았다"고 회상했다. 방은희는 "연애가 덧없다고 생각했다"면서 "내가 교만했다. 결혼 후에도 남편과 친구처럼 살면 되지 싶었다. 그런데 상대는 그렇지 않더라. 첫 이혼은 결혼 3년 만이었는데, 내가 날 사랑하지 않아서 그런 거다. 지금도 사랑을 연기하지만, 사랑이 뭔지 모르겠다"고 속내를 내비쳤다. "제일 잘못한 건 결혼, 제일 잘 한 건 이혼"이라고 강조한 방은희는 "그 결혼 속에 아이를 낳은 건 잘한 일이다. 원래 여자인 게 싫었는데, 아이 낳았을 때 내가 여자인 게 행복했다. 내가 살아있는 이유는 아들"이라며 애정을 표현했다.

 재혼 생각도 없었던 방은희는 "아들이 3살 때 장난감 가게에서 아빠 좀 사다 달라고 하더라"면서 아들 위해 재혼했다고 밝혔다. 그러나 돌싱 남편은 아이가 없어 아빠가 되는 방법을 몰랐고, 결국 아들이 중학교 때 이혼에 대한 의견을 물었다고 말했다. 방은희는 "아들이 '나 때문에 그러지 마, 엄마를 위해 살라'고 하더라. 너무 철이 일찍 들었다. 그래서 재혼 9년 만에 이혼했다"고 사연을 전했다. 김은정 텐아시아 기자 eun@tenasia.co.kr
