연애시절 얘기를 묻자 남편 한창은 "연애할 때 순천 왔었다. 허락 안 받았을 때 내려온 거다"라고 회상했다. 장영란은 "그래서 그때 퇴자 맞았지 않나"라면서 "왜 지금 나쁜 얘기를 하냐. 지금 좋은 얘기 하는데 아픈 얘기를"이라며 발끈했다.</p> <p 됐을 때 어땠냐는 물음에 시어머니는 "자기 몫은 자기가 하겠구나 싶었다"라고 말했다. 장영란은 "아들 둘 의사 만드는 거 쉽지 않다"고 거들었다. 또한 "어머님, 아버님 입장에서는 막 부유하지도 않은 상황에서 (애들에게 쓴 거다)"라고 말했다. 한창도 "버는 족족 애들한테 투자한 건 맞다"고 인정했다.</p> <p
