그는 수십 번의 폐업을 겪으며 얻은 깨달음과 함께 생사가 오갈 만큼 위중했던 패혈증을 앓으며 인생의 우선순위를 통째로 바꿔놓은 순간을 고백했다. 화려한 성공 뒤에 숨겨져 있던 고통과 병과의 싸움이 뒤늦게 알려지며 많은 이들의 공감과 안타까움을 동시에 자아내고 있다.</p> <p 제목의 영상이 올라왔다. 해당 영상에서 홍석천은 서경석과 함께 인생과 사업에 대한 진솔한 대화를 나눴다. 이날 서경석이 "진짜 소상공인을 지금 대변할 수 있을 정도로 20년 넘게 사업을 하지 않았냐"고 묻자, 홍석천은 "제일 많이 했을 때 한 열두 개, 열세 개 했던 것 같다"고 당시를 회상했다. 이어 서경석이 "그런데 문도 중간중간 좀 닫아본 경험도 있지 않냐"고 하자, 홍석천은 "대중은 '성공한 홍석천' 그러면 성공한 브랜드와 성공 스토리만 알지 실패했던 건 잘 모른다"며 "문도 많이 닫았고 남들 안 하는 걸 먼저 도전했다가 실패도 해 보고 돈도 많이 까먹었다. 그 전체적인 스토리를 아는 사람은 많지 않다"고 말했다.</p> <p "원래 가게를 하면서도 궁극적인 목적은 사람이었다"며 "나와 함께 같은 생각을 하면서 달려가고, 내 밑에서 뭔가를 배우고 내 접근법과 아이디어, 남들하고 조금 달리 시작하는 나만의 노하우를 누군가 계속 배워서 나보다 잘되는 게 난 너무 보람되고 좋았다"고 덧붙였다.</p> <figure class="figure_frm origin_fig" 힘들었다"며 "사람에 대한 기대를 좀 놓게 되고 뭔가 더 많이 가르쳐주고 싶은데 가르쳐줘봐야 금세 도망갈 것 같았다. 사람에게 기대를 많이 했다가 마지막에 사람에게 너무 지쳤던 것 같다"고 털어놨다.</p> <p contents-hash="d97eecf2210bbedfe7e088496aa0ee844539b596f5cd254bdf2a60ef85798315" dmcf-pid="XExLlALxZM" dmcf-ptype="general">그러면서 그는 "스트레스가 패혈증으로 와서 죽을 뻔했다"며 "죽다 살아난 후에 가게를 다 그만뒀다. 죽을 위기를 한 번 겪고 나니까 20년 동안 했던 게 무슨 의미가 있을까 싶더라"고 말했다. 홍석천은 당시 병원에 입원해 10일 넘게 주사를 맞으며 사경을 헤맸던 기억도 꺼냈다. 그는 "내 밑에 있던 애들 중에 연락을 해 준 애가 있고, 안 한 애가 있지 않냐. 그때 갈리더라. 내가 마음을 줬던 애들은 연락이 없고, 뜬금없는 애가 와서 '형 괜찮으시냐'고 하더라"며 허탈했던 심경을 전했다.</p> <p
