떠오르고 있다. 지난 3월 22일 조진웅은 세무조사 과정에서 11억 원의 세금 추징을 받았다. 당시 그는 개인 법인을 설립해 소득을 법인 매출로 잡아 법인세를 납부했는데 국세청은 이 과정에서 문제가 있다고 판단해 세무조사를 진행한 것으로 알려졌다. </p> <p 대리인과 과세당국 사이의 세법 해석 적용에 관한 견해 차이로부터 비롯된 것"이라며 "조진웅은 일반적인 세무 처리 방법에 따라 법인 수익에 대해 법인세를 신고 및 납부했으나 과세당국은 이에 대해 추가로 소득세를 부과하는 결정을 했다"고 설명했다.</p> <p 취지의 결정이었고 전문가들과 학계에서도 의견 대립이 있는 쟁점이었다"고 말했다. 끝으로 "조진웅은 대한민국 국민으로서 납세의 의무를 성실하게 이행하고자 항상 노력해 왔고 앞으로도 법과 절차를 준수하며 책임과 의무를 다할 것"이라고 덧붙였다. 개인이 내는 소득세 세율은 6~45%이지만 법인의 경우 9~24%로 최고세율만 놓고 보면 법인 세율이 21%p으로 현저히 낮다. 또 법인의 경우 각종 경비를 비용으로 처리하기 때문에 절세 효과가 크다. 이러다 보니 배우 이하늬, 유연석 등 여러 연예인도 법인으로 세금을 납부하다 수억에서 수십 억대 세금 추징을 당했다.</p> <p 큰 파장을 일으켰다. 그는 차량 절도 및 특가법상 강도 강간으로 형사재판을 받았으며 소년원으로 송치돼 3학년 반 학기를 교정 기관에서 보냈다. 이에 소속사 측은 "미성년 시절 잘못했던 행동이 있음을 확인했지만 30년도 더 지난 시점에 경위를 완전히 파악하기에는 어렵고 관련 법적 절차 또한 이미 종결된 상태라 한계가 있다"며 조진웅의 범죄 전력을 일부
