공개됐다. </p> <p contents-hash="2df0ae7d7f02ab213a28f8f238bfae98fbadd6b617b5fb75a7a9469cbfb3ccbf" dmcf-pid="G1fMh4FYtx" dmcf-ptype="general">이날 한국체육대학교(이하 한체대) 레슬링부 학생들은 고강도 훈련에 한창이었다. 김봉호 조교는 "이제 마지막 새벽 훈련이라 평상시 보다 조금 세게 훈련하고 있다. 2026년 아시안 게임 국가대표 1차 선발전이 2025년 11월 25일부터 27일까지 열린다"라고 밝혔다. 그중에서도 남다른 체력을 자랑하는 사람이 있었으니 바로 2년 전, 레슬링 유망주로 출연했던 모아이즈였다. </p> <p 지난해 파리스도 형을 따라 같은 학교에 입학한 것. 파리스는 "저희 형이 체력이 더 좋다. 따라가려고 노력하고 있다"라고 말했다. 같은 학부 선후배 사이가 된 형제는 훈련할 때면 둘도 없는 콤비를 보여줬다.</p> <p 많았었다고. 이에 해외 시합을 출전을 못해왔던 그는 "해외 시합에 나가는 게 소원이었다"라고 말했었다. 하지만 '이웃집 찰스' 출연 후 이듬해, 특별귀화를 하게 되면서 드디어 진짜 한국인이 됐다.</p> <p contents-hash="6a51af43b5b56fc2c1a80cbc684d7068613d80c75b0feffe8c915c56d0630d5b" dmcf-pid="pqdaXJb0YK" dmcf-ptype="general">한체대 백진국 교수는 "모아이즈가 한국 국적을 따서 국가대표 선발대회에 처음 출전할 수 있게 됐다"라며 "신인 선수로서는 돌풍을 일으키지 않을까 예상을 한다"라고 기대감을 드러냈다. </p> <p 대한민국 국가대표였다. 백 교수는 "(모아이즈가) 귀화하면서 좋은 실업팀에 선발도 됐다. 저희 학생 중에 실업팀에서 미리 찜한 선수는 모아이즈 밖에 없다"라고 말했다. 모아이즈는 첫 출전을 앞두고 계체량을 위해 극한의 단식, 단수 및 맹훈련에 돌입했다. </p> <p 싶은 파리스의 마음을 아는 모아이즈는 그의 든든한 조력자가 되어주고 있다. 파리스는 "도움을 많이 받고 있다. 월세도 형이 내주고 있다. 자기도 사고 싶은 게 있을텐데 저한테 해주니까 고맙다"라고 애틋한 마음을 전했다. 이에 모아이즈는 "저는 돈 들어갈 일이 별로 없다, 같이 운동하는데 이정도는 해줄 수 있다"라고 말해 훈훈함을 안겼다. </p> <p
