있도록 하겠다"고 덧붙였다. ‘개소리’는 개의 목소리를 듣게 된 원로 배우가 수상한 사건들을 해결하는 과정을 다룬 미스터리 힐링 코미디다. 해당 작품은 닐슨코리아 기준 최고 시청률 4.6%를 기록하며 대중들의 많은 관심을 받았다. 특히 작품 내 이순재는 몸을 사리지 않고 뛰어난 코믹 연기를 선보여 많은 이들에게 큰 웃음을 안겼다. 때문에 이번 특별 편성을 하이킥’, ‘지붕 뚫고 하이킥’에선 본인을 내려놓는 명품 코믹 연기를 선보이며 대중들에게 존재감을 각인시켰다. 이순재는 최근까지도 연극 ‘고도를 기다리며’, 드라마 ‘개소리’ 등 다양한 작품 활동을 병행하며 연기에 대한 열정을 내비쳤다. 또한 예능 ‘꽃보다 할배’에서 그는 "나는 당장 내일 할 일이 있으니까, 끝을 생각하기보다 현재에 최선을 다해야지.
